Love Using Window Light!

These images are from a recent session where I was using some beautiful window light from a large mill building window. I just love the soft quality that comes from window lighting and also the texture of the bricks!

Wedding with Detail!

It is a lot of fun seeing all the different weddings and the individual details that go into making each unique. This particular wedding was LOADED with flowers and crystals; bouquets at the bride's house, in the private wedding party room, and not only in the reception hall, but on every surface in the lobby area! All seats had white covers with big beautiful fushia bows, the cake table and personal bride and groom's table had ivy and crystals and more flowers. And the bridesmaid dresses were the most elegantly detailed I've seen. It was beautiful!

This little guy was one of the ring bearers.

The bride arrived at the ceremony in style!

This was the cutest and sweetest little flower girl!

This was the bridge and groom's personal table.

These gigantic arrangements were the center pieces on the tables!

These were some of the other center pieces on a select few tables as well.

This guy was a bit shy when first "dragged" out on the dance floor. In a very short time, though, he became Aretha Franklin singing "Respect"!

More High School Senior Work

One of the nice things I like about portrait photography is that I get to meet lots of different people with different personalities. It's fun getting to know them. I had the pleasure of photographing this high school senior at one of her favorite spots near a river. We had a nice walk and she is such a pleasant and quietly confident young woman.

Recent High School Senior Portrait

This was a recent high school senior portrait I had the pleasure of photographing. It was lots of fun. She has the most beautiful smile that seemed to come so naturally every time I lifted the camera! I make every effort to try and capture my subject in a very natural way, not stiff and posed. Each person's session can be quite different from another depending on their personalities which his why I enjoy photographing on location. That way each person's images are unique to them.

Summer/Fall Promotion

Whether at the beach, a favorite park or your own back yard, family lifestyle portraits include YOUR environment; incorporating the things your family loves to do - hobbies, interests, or memorable places. They provide not only artistic photographs, but fun memories of having them taken. My family and I will always remember this day at the beach shown in the images on this postcard!

I would love to help you create your own lifestyle portrait. Hold your custom outdoor session by October 31 and mention the postcard below to receive a complimentary 8X10 of your session. (Not redeemable for cash)

Ask about having a percentage of your session donated to a select group of community organizations.

Commercial Project

Congratulations to Signature Style salon for winning a three hour educational experience with Aquage International!! Their announcement was published in a trade magazine and they asked me to capture their staff and salon in a photograph for this publication!!

My whole family goes to Signature Style! As a client, I have watched the owner go from an employee at another salon to building her very own in a beautifully refurbished mill building space. She is one of the most positive people I know and she deserves many successes! I thank her for the opportunity to photograph her and her staff for this great win! Lovely Wedding

One of the pleasures of photographing various weddings is being offered the opportunity to meet the different couples. The location they choose for their ceremony and reception is of course important, but it is the details that they choose and the moments that occur which makes their wedding truly unique to them. It is my goal to capture these details and moments so that the collection of images they view will read as a story and help them relive their wedding day forever!
